Fit for Life Team

Cathy NeSmith

Cathy began pursuing a career as a personal trainer as she sought ways to control her own hypertension. Needing 3 different medications to manage her high blood pressure just didn't make sense, since she maintained a healthy weight and stayed physically active.

Having worked with physical therapists and chiropractors for over a decade, she knew there had to be a better, more natural way to improve her condition, and she found the answer in fitness training. Cathy earned her personal trainer certification from the NCSF (National Council on Strength & Fitness), with advanced coursework in training clients with hypertension, to help others achieve similar health goals.

Since many health problems develop from poor habits at a young age, Cathy has a special interest in educating and training kids and teens. She has worked for several years as a conditioning coach for youth fitness programs and athletics including travel baseball, competitive cheer and performance dance.

A busy mom herself, Cathy also focuses on working with women in all phases of motherhood to keep them healthy and vibrant, including fitness during and after pregnancy.
